What happens if you remove the SSD from the motherboard and then try starting the laptop?

Can you get into BIOS OK?

Can you post any error messages you get here in the thread so we can take a peek?

Without seeing it or having more context, the initial rough impression is the OS might have corruption/the drive might be failing, but we'd need to see errors and have a bit more info to tell.

Best of luck.

the error code would be 0271 , which tells me to set up the date and time countless times . even after doing so , itll lead me back to the boot menu . i only bought this laptop brand new march this year , so i dont understand why this is happening .

this "despite multiple attempts from solutions i found on the internet , nothing works ." is an indication that your computer is having issues with the CMOS RTC circuit. Let us know the exact model for your Thinkpad 13. Yours should have a capacitor that stays charged for the backup RTC but I believe it gets its charge from the main battery. You may need to consider a BIOS reset but let's get a better diagnostic first.

@haziq28048 Okay so it has a RTC battery. Use the L13 Gen 2 Hardware Maintenance MAnual and check page 72 for the how to replace it. Once you have changed the battery, and if necessary, you can do some further troubleshooting by using the manuals Chapter 3 and Chapter 4. Let us know how it all works out for you.
