whenever i turn on 3ds, it takes about 10 seconds and then says "an error has occurred. Hold down the POWER button to turn off the power, then turn it on and try again. For help, visit support.nintendo.com" (the website doesnt help) i power off and on the 3ds, and the same thing happens. anybody know what to do?

Hi Taran!
This could be caused by multiple things.
Please remove the SD card first and try to turn it on again and see if it’s fixed or not.
Most of the time it is caused by the OS it self. Is your 3DS modded??
Also you can try to enter the recovery menu:
Power off your 3DS and hold down the 'L,' 'R,' 'A,' and 'Up' buttons simultaneously. While holding these buttons, press the power button to turn on the system. Continue holding the buttons until the Recovery Mode menu appears.
Erase all data and try again.
