Screen panel closing issue

I have an mba purchased in october of the last year. I have noticed today that when I close the screen, it will not remain closed at all. Is this normal or it is an issue and I need to get Apple service?

Sounds like either the uppercase has warped a bit or the lid hinges are out of alignment.

Make sure you don’t have a snap-on shell as these have tabs to hold them on the gap between which is to narrow and all you do is crack you display. I only recommend skins which are more than enough for most.

@ziobru Do you use a Keyboard protector or one of those webcam sliders?

I have a keyboard protector but it's very thin, I've tried to remove it, but the problem still remain

by

@ziobru - as your system is likely still under warranty I would head over to the Apple Store to see what they can do. But leave the keyboard protector at home.

I purchased it on the mediaworld online store and not into an Apple store. I don’t know if Apple will give me support directly. I sended today a mail to the support of the online store to understand if I can get warranty from them or I will need to go to an Apple store
