Background and Identification
One easy way to identify this product is the gray body with purple, black and orange details. Another is the shape, this robot is flat on one end and rounds off on the other end. The rounded end is what connects to the charger and closest to the screen and Neato logo. Also, the product comes with black magnetic strips, a wireless charger, two roller brushes and the vacuum itself. Lastly the easiest way to identify the product is checking the box or instruction manual to match the specific model.
The Neato XV-21 is an automatic vacuum that is specific towards pet hair and dander. This model gave way to a whole new family of Neato robotics being one of the first models available from the company.
There have been no company recalls.
Common problems with this model are not being able to find the battery pack, running in to objects, random ejection of the dustpan and not powering on. These problems are addressed in the troubleshooting page; the link to this page is provided above.
