Hello! My name is Jessica Walia, and I'm a freshman at the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth. I am majoring in Computer Science with a minor in Business Administration. For my aspirations, I want to work in a field where I can combine my coding experience with my interest in finance and the business aspect of things. Some skills I have are coding experience in Java, I am bilingual, and my history of playing sports has helped me develop communication and leadership skills.

So far in college, I was placed on the Dean's List for my academics. I am also a part of the Honors College here at UMASS Dartmouth. I have not fixed anything significant in particular as of yet, but I have definitely helped with minor software issues on smartphones or laptops. I prefer spending time with family and friends whenever I am able to, and reading a book is always a good way to end the day. I enjoy listening to music while doing homework as it has made me more productive.

This project will give me experience regarding computers and how the fix the hardware aspect of them, especially since I am planning on working with computers and the software aspect, and knowing how the fix minor issues would be beneficial.
