Dell Venue 7 won't turn on
No matter what you do, you can't get your tablet to turn on.
Press and hold power button
If your device does not turn on, then your problem may be more complex.
Drained/bad battery
If your device won't turn on and you have not charged it in a long time, plug it into a computer or a wall charger with the USB adapter. If the device still does not charge then you will have to replace the battery.
Bad display
It is possible that the tablet's display is broken. If this is the case then the display must be replaced.
Bad motherboard
If nothing else works, then check all connections to the tablet's motherboard and if it all looks fine and still does not work then the motherboard must be replaced.
Camera won't work
"Your device is working properly, but the camera is damaged so your photos are distorted or your device won't take photos at all."
Loose motherboard connection
The first cause of your problem may simply be that the camera wire is not connected properly to the motherboard, so make sure that it is connected properly.
Broken camera
If the camera is connected to the motherboard properly and still does not work, then the camera itself may be broken and will need to be replaced.
Audio distortion or no audio at all from audio jack
Your device turns on and appears to work, but when you plug in headphones or speakers, the audio doesn't play properly.
Bad headphones or speakers
Your device may not be to blame. First try using different headphones or speakers with your device.
Bad audio jack
The most likely cause of audio problems is a bad audio jack. If no speakers or headphones work with your device then you should check the connections to the motherboard. If it is all connected and still does not work then you must replace the audio jack.
Audio distortion or no audio at all from internal speakers
Your device turns on and appears to work, but when you play music, etc. without headphones plugged in, the audio doesn't play properly from the device's speakers.
Bad motherboard connection
Make sure that your device's internal speakers are properly connected to the motherboard. If they are properly and tightly connected, you will need to replace the speakers.
Bad motherboard
If replacing the speakers still yields no results then you will have to replace the motherboard.
Cracked screen
If the screen is visibly cracked, shattered, scratched, or damaged in any way, you will need to replace it.
Touchscreen not responsive
Your device turns on, yet it wont respond to any touch input or localized touch input.
Restart device
It is possible that all you must do is a force restart.
Bad motherboard
If all of the connections to the motherboard are secure, but the device still does not respond to any touch input then you will have to replace the motherboard.
