Impact driver will not turn on
When the trigger is pressed nothing happens.
The forward/reverse switch is not fully engaged to one side
If the forward/reverse switch is not fully engaged to one side it will lock the trigger. Try moving the forward/reverse switch that is above the trigger fully to one side.
The battery is dead
Remove the battery by squeezing the red tabs on either side of the battery. Now place it on the charger. Click here to follow the guide
The trigger assembly is disconnected or broken
Disassemble the impact driver and check the wires going to the trigger assembly (click here]to follow the disassembly guide). If the wires are properly secured, then the trigger assembly needs to be replaced. Click here to follow the guide
The Impact driver will rotate in one direction but not the other
The Drill will only rotate in one direction even when the switch indicates the opposite direction.
The forward/reverse switch is not fully engaged to one side
If the forward/reverse switch is not fully engaged to one side it will lock the trigger. Try moving the forward/reverse switch to one side fully.
The wires are loose
If the trigger fully engages, it may be a wiring or electrical issue. Disassemble the impact driver by following this guide. Check for any shorts, strips, or disconnects along the wires. If damage is found along wires, you may need to replace them. Click here to follow the guide
The forward/reverse switch is broken
If the forward/reverse switch is broken it could have debris hindering the switch from fully engaging. Disassemble the impact driver by following this guide. If further inspection reveals no debris is found, you may have to replace the switch. Click here to follow the guide
While in use the impact driver torque is reduced
There is a noticeable difference in power since the time of purchase
Check the battery
Low battery power can cause reduced torque. Press the small round button with a picture of a battery and watch for the red lights. The red lights indicate the charge of the battery. Four red lights indicate a full charge and no lights indicate a dead battery. If your battery is dead place it on the battery charger.
Replace carbon brushes
The carbon brushes ride on the armature of the electric motor. When they become worn they can cause the torque from the impact driver to be reduced. Click here to follow the guide on replacing the carbon brushes.

Sparks and smoke are coming from the Impact driver
Since this Impact driver has an electric motor that uses carbon brushes. A small amount of sparks may be noticed in low light conditions but, if an excessive amount of sparks or smoke is noticed do not continue to use the impact driver.
Excessive build up of dust inside the case
If you believe there is an excessive amount of dust inside your impact driver you will need to take the impact driver apart and blow it out with compressed air. Click here to follow the guide on disassembling the impact driver.
The electric motor is shorting out and needs to be replaced
