Optoma HD72 Troubleshooting
The Optoma HD72 is a home theater projector that has 720p resolution. Released January 2006, Identified by model number HD72 and manufactured in Taiwan.
Projection Lamp Not Turning On
The projection lamp of the projector does not work or turn on
The projection lamp burnt out.
The projection lamp was completely burnt out and will never work when turned on.

The Ballast is what powers the projection lamp, and therefore

The color wheel, which is the source of the projector’s color, is dirty and must be cleaned, do so with a soft towel or napkin and very gently remove the dust particles from the object.
