      Guide Steps

Step 1 — Removal of the side panel on the brew group

Remove the flap above the brew group and the drawer for coffee powder now. Both often jam and you will need some force. Press the catches away if necessary.

Step 2 — Removal of the upper part

The entire upper part must now be removed. Here you can see the upper part for information, the bean container and top cover have been removed, which is not necessary.

      Step 3

(Again, the lid and coffee container have been removed for better visibility). Insert an opening tool into the gap between the upper part and the rest of the machine, release the catches and tabs until the upper part can be separated. The catches are very tight and you may need to exert considerable force.

Step 4 — Disconnecting the ground cable

Pull off the blade terminals on the green/yellow grounding cables.

Step 5 — Disconnecting the thermal switch

Disconnect the thermosensor plug from the electronics box.

Step 6 — Disconnecting the supply lines

The heater is connected to the power supply with a blue and a brown cable. Both cables are connected to the thermal fuses with flat plugs.

Step 7 — Disconnecting the pressure hose

Pull out the clip on the red pressure hose on the brewing valve.

Step 8 — Unscrewing and removal of the heater

Position the machine so that the side with the brew group is facing you.
